PR & Marketing

Public relations, to The Champions Fund, is primarily about managing the flow of information between our athletes, their foundations and their communities. The community built around a foundation is broadly composed of fans, individuals served, volunteers and organizations that can help. We use traditional media, social media, and press releases to reach out to each segment of the foundation’s community with the right message for them. We use our experience to help each foundation grow with the right types of exposure from stories that resonate with people.

Marketing is a key aspect of establishing and expanding a foundation’s community, and it’s something The Champions Fund has done well for a long time. Knowing where our athletes and foundations can get the most return on their investment of time and energy, then developing the connections to make those opportunities come to fruition is only part of what we do at TCF. Our athlete foundations have recently been highlighted on national TV and in national print media, reaching millions of potential supporters in a single stroke.

The Champions Fund develops a customized PR & marketing plan to position each foundation with the right level of exposure and placement. We recognize that PR & marketing are important tools to assist a foundation in accomplishing their goals, and we work to maximize that assistance.
