Since 2000, The Champions Fund has worked to maximize a professional athlete and other sport-related organization’s contributions to charity through a sharing of operational costs, expertise and resources across TCF foundation members and programs.
TCF operates on the premise that each athlete’s foundation does not need its own executive director, senior level operations manager, accountant, tax counsel, public relations director, etc., and that certain skill areas can benefit from shared personnel, i.e., fundraising, special event planning and website management.
As a result, The Champions Fund can offer its fund members the senior level expertise normally associated with more mature organizations to new, smaller foundation or charitable programs just starting out.
Governed by a three-member Board of Directors specializing in tax-exempt tax law, accounting/audit practices and community/fund development, TCF encourages each donor advisor to appoint their own advisor, or group of advisors, to provide advice and recommendations in the areas of program management and fundraising and to serve as public advocates for the organization.

Since 2000, we have worked diligently to provide superior performance and accountability to each client and/or his or her advisors with regular reporting and access to the status and activities of their fund.
